You may need to save your receipt to locate the plan, so we recommend you have your receipt available when filing a claim with Allstate Protection Plans. In some cases, we will need information from your receipt to locate the policy.  

For all in-home service, and claims on larger items, we need you to be with the item for troubleshooting. Sometimes we may ask for the serial number, so we advise you to have your item with you for a seamless claims experience. 

During the first 90 days of your protection plan:
If you purchased your protection plan at a Menards, bring the receipt for your plan back to the location where it was purchased.

After the first 90 days of your plan:
You can cancel it here.

Most products come with a manufacturer's warranty that lasts 90 days to one year from the date of purchase. If there is an issue during this time that is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, you will be referred to the manufacturer for service. If there is an issue that is not covered by the manufacturer during the warranty period but is included in your Allstate Protection Plan. Allstate will cover it.

Yes. If you've purchased a plan as a gift for someone, we recommend waiting until after you have gifted it to transfer the plan. As soon as you transfer it, an automated email will be sent to the receiver (which could ruin the surprise). Click here to read more about how to transfer a plan.

You have 90 days from item purchase to protect it with an Allstate Protection Plan. Please visit your local Menards to purchase an Allstate Protection Plan.
