No. You don’t have to register your plan for it to be active.
Claims are subject to a service fee. A service fee is the amount you pay out-of-pocket per claim before Allstate Protection Plans begin to cover repair or replacement costs.
Service fee amounts vary and are determined by the retail price of the phone when it was first introduced by the manufacturer as new and the type of resolution needed.

Cancelations are handled via Mint Mobile. To cancel your plan, contact the Mint Mobile Care team. Or, use the link provided in your Mint Mobile account.
For paid upfront Allstate Protection Plans, customers who cancel their Allstate Protection Plan within the first 30 days of purchase are eligible for a full refund. Customers who cancel their Allstate Protection Plan after the first 30 days of purchase are eligible for a partial, prorated refund.
For monthly Allstate Protection Plans, customers who cancel their Allstate Protection Plan within the first 30 days of purchase are eligible for a full refund. Customers who cancel their Allstate Protection Plan after the first 30 days of purchase will have coverage through the end of the current month and then will no longer be charged.
