- We will save it in case you ever need to file a claim in the future
- First, find the plan you want to transfer here
- Click on the plan you want to transfer
- Then, click "Transfer plan" in the Quick Links box to the right
No, you do not need to register your plan. However, your receipt is required to file a claim—so registering it now can save time if you ever do need to file a claim in the future:

During the first 30 days of your protection plan:
If you purchased your protection plan at a Walmart store, bring the receipt for your plan back to the store where it was purchased or visit Walmart.com/account.
If you purchased your plan online, visit Walmart.com/account.
After the first 30 days of your plan:
You can cancel it here.
Most products come with a manufacturer’s warranty that lasts 90 days to one year from the date of purchase. If there is an issue during this time that is covered by the warranty, you will be referred to the manufacturer for service.
