What does an Allstate Protection Plan cover?
Allstate covers appliances and electronics from common malfunctions plus mechanical and electrical failures from normal use—including complex internal parts that can stop working years after purchase. Intentional damage, accidental damage, loss, and theft are not covered.

Quick & easy online claims
Customers can file a claim at SquareTrade.com/claim anytime, 24/7. They should have their receipt and their covered item.
Many claims are approved instantly. In other cases, a specialist will guide them through next steps.
Appliances
Once the customer’s claim is approved, we’ll schedule a convenient in-home service visit. If we can’t repair the appliance, we’ll provide the customer with a replacement or reimburse them for one.
TV
Most TVs are repaired by an in-home repair technician on their first visit. If we can’t repair it, we’ll send the customer a replacement or reimburse them for one.
Other Electronics & Furniture
We’ll fix the item. If we can’t repair it, we’ll send a replacement or reimburse the customer for one.
